<\/i>1. Installing the module<\/a><\/h3>

Installing the module<\/p>\n

Download the SendApp WhatsApp Notifications module ZIP file from
\nofficial page or from the PrestaShop Addons Marketplace. Access your
\nPrestaShop administration and go to Modules \u2192 Module Manager \u2192 Upload
\na form. Drag the ZIP into the upload area, wait for it to load
\nand click Install. Once finished, you will see the module in the list: click
\nConfigure to access the setup panel.<\/p>\n

During installation the module automatically creates the tables of the
\nnecessary databases (message queue, sending history, subscribers, queue
\nproduct-view) and two custom order states for the flow
\ncustomer confirmation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Choosing the SendApp platform<\/p>\n

New in version 2.0 is the ability to choose the backend
\nSendApp with which the module will communicate. In the Setup panel you will find the
\n\u201cSendApp platform\u201d radio button with two options:<\/p>\n

\u2013 SendApp Official (Cloud, single bearer token) \u2013 for those who have a
\naccount on official.sendapp.cloud and a WhatsApp number
\nMeta-approved business. Single-token authentication.<\/p>\n

\u2013 SendApp Agent (app.sendapp.ai, API key + token) \u2013 for those who use the
\nSendApp Agent platform. Authentication via API pair
\nkey + token found in the Developer Tools section.<\/p>\n

The module memorizes the choice and automatically routes each call
\nAPI (fetch template, sync, send single message, broadcast) to
\nthe correct endpoint for the selected platform.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Next to each option in the \u201cSendApp platform\u201d radio you will find a link
\ndirect to the token generation page on the chosen platform:<\/p>\n

\u2013 If you selected SendApp Official, click on \u201cGenerate token\u201d. Yes
\nopens the page https:\/\/official.sendapp.cloud\/developer-tools\/access-tokens in a new tab.
\nLog in to your account, click Generate API key, copy the token with
\nthe clipboard icon and paste it into the \u201cSendApp Official\u201d field
\nAccess Token\u201d of the module.<\/p>\n

\u2013 If you selected SendApp Agent, click on \u201cGenerate API key + token\u201d.
\nThe page https:\/\/app.sendapp.ai\/api opens in a new tab where
\nYou'll find both the API key and the token. Copy and paste them into the two
\nrespective form fields.<\/p>\n

Also fill in the \u201cAdmin's mobile phone\u201d field with the number (or
\ncomma-separated numbers) on which you want to receive notifications
\nadministration. Save: the form immediately verifies the credentials and
\ndisplays a green \u201cConnected\u201d badge with the number of approved templates
\nuploaded from the cloud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/i>4. Configure WhatsApp templates for each event<\/a><\/h3>

Configure notification messages<\/p>\n

In the \u201cWhatsApp Templates and Notifications\u201d panel you will find an entry for
\neach store event: new order, new customer, product
\nout of stock, abandoned cart, birthday, order status change, etc.
\nFor each one you can:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Select a Meta-approved template from the drop-down menu.
\n\u2013 Map dynamic template variables (e.g. {{1}} = name
\ncustomer, {{2}} = order total) to PrestaShop placeholders
\navailable for that event.
\n\u2013 Attach a media URL if your template has an IMAGE\/VIDEO\/DOCUMENT header.
\n\u2013 Specify a free fallback text used only if the template does not
\nis available (requires 24h open session with the client).<\/p>\n

As you click on the fields, a live preview appears on the right.
\nsmartphones with real-time variable substitution: the
\nFilled variables are highlighted in green, those still empty in
\nyellow. If you haven't created templates on Meta yet, click the
\n\u201cCreate new template on SendApp Cloud\u201d button at the bottom of the panel:
\nthe SendApp dashboard opens in the template section, where you can

<\/i>5. CRON Automations: Carts, Birthday, Product View<\/a><\/h3>

Scheduled Jobs (CRON)<\/p>\n

In the \u201cScheduled Jobs (CRON)\u201d panel you can configure automations
\nmodule timeframes:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Abandoned Carts: The module sends a WhatsApp message to
\ncustomers who left products in the cart between time
\nminimum and maximum time configured (default 3 min \u2013 5 hours).
\n\u2013 Birthday greetings: once a day CRON sends birthday greetings
\nto all customers who have a birthday with a possible code
\ndiscount inserted in the template.
\n\u2013 Product view: the module stores the products viewed by the
\nlogged in customers and, after a configurable cooldown, sends a
\nWhatsApp reminder with the product link and a possible incentive.
\n\u2013 Delayed message queue: if you enable \u201cDelayed sending\u201d the messages
\nare queued and batch processed by the sendNext CRON.<\/p>\n

The panel displays ready-to-use CRON URLs, pre-populated with the
\nsecret token generated upon installation. Just add it to your crontab.

The module includes a floating chat widget for the front office
\nof your store, configurable from the \u201cClick-to-Chat widget\u201d panel:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Position: bottom-right or bottom-left
\n\u2013 Company logo: automatically use PrestaShop logo or
\nset a custom URL
\n\u2013 Popup title and subtitle
\n\u2013 Operator List: a pipe-delimited text area where you enter name,
\nrole, phone, avatar, online status and pre-populated message
\nfor everyone<\/p>\n

When the visitor clicks the green FAB with WhatsApp icon it opens
\na popup with branded header and card of each operator (avatar
\ncircular, name, role, status badge \u201cI'm online\u201d or \u201cI'll be back soon\u201d).
\nClicking on an operator opens WhatsApp web\/app with the message
\npre-filled. The widget has a pulse animation to attract attention,
\nIt closes with the ESC key or external click, it is responsive and accessible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

By opening any order in admin you will find a new shipping card
\nWhatsApp with two modes:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Approved template: choose a template, see live preview and
\nfill in the variables by clicking the suggested chips with the data
\nof the order (customer name, order ID, total, courier, products).
\n\u2013 Free text: write a direct message, valid only if the
\ncustomer interacted in the last 24 hours (Meta limit).<\/p>\n

The recipient's number is pre-filled from the phone_mobile field of the
\nclient. A client+server validation prevents silent sending: if
\nIf the template or body is missing, a red banner with the specific motif appears,
\notherwise a green confirmation banner \u201cMessage forwarded\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\nin the panels (settings, templates, single send, bulk send) the bubble
\nof the message updates instantly with replacement of the
\nvariables and media headers. If you select a template with headers
\nIMAGE shows the real image (with object-fit cover for
\nmaintain the proportions); with VIDEO or DOCUMENT headers the following appear
\ncorresponding tiles. The preview is screwed into a sticky panel on the

From the \u201cMarketing \u2013 Bulk Message\u201d panel you can send a message
\nbroadcast to a list of numbers. Choose a template, map the
\nvariables, optionally attach a media URL and click Submit.<\/p>\n

Below the form you will find a button for each customer group of the
\nshop: by clicking it, the recipients' text area is pre-filled
\nwith all the customer numbers in that group (deduplicated). If you have
\nhigh volumes activate the \u201cDelayed sending\u201d mode in the CRON panel
